COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
Here at the Mediterranean Inn, an independent family owned hotel established in 2001 and operated continuously by the same owners and managers (and most of the staff) throughout, there is no higher priority than the health and well-being of our team members, guests and partners. We monitored closely the latest on COVID-19 throughout the epidemic, and followed the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as all City, County, and other local health authorities with the utmost diligence.
Since vaccines became widely available and proven effective, we have insisted our team be fully vaccinated, and it is a precondition of employment here. This is in our view necessary to provide the safest environment for our guests during their stay. Fully vaccinated guests do not need to practice social distancing nor to wear indoor face coverings here, except and unless required by state or local ordinance. Unvaccinated guests should probably not travel, and must wear masks at all times indoors. The Mediterranean Inn is continuing with operations and hosting of travelers, while monitoring the continuously updated recommendations of health authorities. However, if you have reservations to stay with us and are feeling ill (experiencing symptoms like a fever, cough, or shortness of breath), please do not travel as planned, and, instead, contact the party you booked through or the hotel itself at 206-428-4700 24 hours/day so we may assist you.
Thank you for your continued support. We genuinely appreciate it; we could not be who we are without you and your support over the years. We are extremely excited to see the success of the various new vaccines and their rejuvenation of society, and look forward to many more decades of being your home away from home. If anything changes, we will be there for you, safely.
Sincerely,
Sheila Ordonez, Brian Zaugg, and the entire Mediterranean Inn Family
